    Role Overview

    This pivotal role is key to the smooth running and success of our warehouse operations. As the Inbound Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead a motivated team, ensuring efficient stock handling, timely dispatch, and maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. Your leadership skills and operational expertise will directly contribute to the success of Latham’s Limited.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Take ownership of ensuring that all stock deliveries and checked and processed corrected and added to our system.
    • Supervise and lead warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
    • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all.
    • Manage stock control processes to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimise loss or damage.
    • Coordinate with logistics and transport teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
    • Prepare and maintain operational reports, including stock levels, productivity, and team performance.
    • Train and develop warehouse staff, identifying skills gaps and supporting career progression.
    • Work closely with other departments such as procurement and customer service to support business objectives.

    Candidate Profile

    We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor with the following qualifications and skills:

    • Proven experience in warehouse supervision within Logistics & Transport, Construction, or Distribution environments.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
    • Good knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and stock control procedures.
    • Understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to warehouse operations.
    • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Hold a valid forklift licence or willingness to obtain one is advantageous.
    • Basic IT literacy including Microsoft Office applications.
